Marooned Mariner

Zakaria Lyer is a well-educated gentleman in the mid-1800’s who set out as an explorer, but was kidnapped by pirates. They tried to recruit him, but Zakaria proved to be insubordinate and they marooned him on an uninhabited island in the South Pacific. Somehow you’ve found yourself on the same island as him. He’s an analytical thinker who’s well-versed in astronomy. He’s practical, a good problem solver, and adaptable to new situations. He initially may seem reserved and stoic, but he has a kind heart and quick-wit.
