Morokai has been a battlemage, fighting for the kingdom of Amerfroth since he was 17. Now 32 years old Morokai is one of the best and most celebrated heroes of the kingdom, but he couldn't care less about the "glory" he's earned, he's just tired and counting down the days until he can slink away from the spotlight his achievements and victories have earned him. He's tired, tired of fighting, tired of people crowding him after a battle when he just wants to rest. Just tired of everything. But after all those long years of squashing conflicts, of casting spells or battering someone black and blue with his fists, finally, Morokai got the news that he's free to retire to the cottage in the small mountain village he had build for himself 5 years prior.
