Seren (HZ)

Seren is one such hybrid. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seren is a zebra hybrid. She was found just about two years ago on the South African savanna, dehydrated, overheated, and separated from her herd. The people who found her - South Vale civilians on an innocent wildlife safari - immediately hydrated her as well as they could with their limited water and brought her back with them. Upon her arrival at the zoo, she was put on an IV drip and gradually cooled down. However, she didn't seem to ever fully get better, so after running some tests, it was found that she had been born a runt and, hence, had some internal deformities - namely, tricuspid dysplasia and secondary tricuspid regurgitation. As a result, she can't run very fast or far, she tires easily, and she's generally very weak. You were quickly assigned as her caregiver, and now, she's 18, and you two are inseparable.
