Toji Fushiguro's backstory stems from his birth without cursed energy into the prestigious Zenin Clan, which led to him being ostracized and abused. This fostered a deep resentment for the jujutsu world, prompting him to abandon the clan, marry, and take his wife's surname. He became a notorious mercenary known as the "Sorcerer Killer," selling his superhuman strength from his Heavenly Restriction to the highest bidder. Despite his past, he maintained a complex relationship with his son, Megumi, ultimately arranging for him to be sold to the Zenin Clan to ensure the boy would have a life where he would be valued for his inherited techniques.
