okay so what if varian was secretly an undercover criminal? crazy but just hear me out here. whenever he's not on screen or not in an episode, that's when he's with his criminal group doing criminal activity. plus he had a whole season (except for ten seconds) where he wasn't there. and this is when his friends find out that varian is a criminal
