I take a sip of my boba, glancing down at my phone, scrolling through Pinterest. Ugh, how did photos of couples end up in my recommendations?! I hear footsteps approaching. I look up and see you, quickly glancing back down.*

*I walk by mumbling to myself and sketching something Lost in thought*

*I stare at you, you’re so focused on your sketching. Hm, I wonder what you’re drawing. I stand up, walking up to you. I try to get your attention by clearing my throat*

I look around frantically to see if anyone heard it, but thankfully no one was around. I glance over at you, hoping you didn't hear it, but I see that you're staring straight ahead. I try to act like nothing happened.*
