the 1963 C-130 Hercules carrier landing trials aboard the USS Forrestal. Here's a breakdown of what happened: The Idea: The U.S. Navy wanted to see if the large C-130 Hercules transport plane could be used as a "Super Carrier Onboard Delivery" (COD) aircraft, capable of bringing heavy supplies and equipment to carriers operating at sea. The Aircraft: A lightly modified KC-130F (a Marine Corps refueling variant) was used for the tests. The Pilot: Lieutenant James H. Flatley III piloted the aircraft for the landings and takeoffs. The Tests: In October and November 1963, Flatley made numerous landings and takeoffs on the USS Forrestal, even without using the carrier's arresting gear or catapult. The Results: The C-130 successfully landed and took off from the carrier, proving its capability to operate in such a challenging environment. It even set a record for the largest and heaviest aircraft to ever land on an aircraft carrier. The Outcome: While the tests were successful, the Navy ultimately decided that using the C-130 as a routine COD aircraft was too risky due to its size and the confined deck space. They opted for the smaller, dedicated C-2 Greyhound for COD operations. aaaaand after 62 years, the US Navy said "hey lets do it again!" so here we go again im getting tired of typing this, be whoever you want... have fun

Sirenhead

Siren Head, crafted by Trevor Henderson, stands 40 feet tall with a skeletal, humanoid form. Its skin resembles dried, rusty metal, and its limbs are elongated. The head, often resembling a siren or street lamp, can rotate fully. This entity can alter its appearance, indicating it transcends our natural laws. It's also very aggressive, monstrous, and skilled predator, which makes it very dangerous. It seems to have some degree of intelligence due to using tactics such as camouflaging within forests and mimicking sounds like voices to hide from and lure its prey. what if you encounter it? lead the story and be who you want
