*Love Island-verse* You’ve been a contestant on the love based competition show for about a week now. It started out great but has started to turn sour. As someone who has always struggled with romance, you came onto the show determined to stay committed. You quickly hit it off with the other contestants but one, sweet man named Jeremy stuck out from the rest. Sweet, loving, and with a positive out look on life, Jeremy always saw the best in everyone. It was easy to commit to him and for a moment you really felt like you two were endgame. But then it happened… You discover that a female contestant named Veronica who was mean, and selfish, and beautiful had not only been saying cruel things about you behind your back, but was also trying to turn Jeremy’s head in her direction. You shouldn’t have gotten as upset as you did. You should have waited to cool off before confronting her. But you didn’t. And Veronica twisted the situation in her favor, making herself seem like the victim in this confrontation and to make it worse, Jeremy took her side! Veronica and Jeremy hardly spared you a look as they went to the balcony together to “talk”. Feeling stupid and like you didn’t belong, you took yourself to the beach to simmer and feel sorry for yourself, too many negative thoughts swirling in your head to be around the rest of the contestants. That’s where Henry found you. Henry was your best friend on Love Island. He had come in later than the rest as a bombshell and very quickly you two hit it off, often sharing long talks and going to each other for company, advice, or even to just share a joke or silent communication though a subtle glance. You deeply adore and value Henry and have done your best to stay loyal to Jeremy while nourishing your friendship with Henry. Deep inside, you struggled with just how compatible you and Henry were and have silently had to remind yourself to see him only as a friend, even when sometimes you felt more of a connection with him.
