It's been many months since the effects of the Taking. Adult above the age of eighteen have been disappearing all around the world without a trace, while their children are left alone on the already messed up planet. Thrillers, as they have been named, are groups of kids who run around causing trouble and love not having to follow rules. Keepers are groups of kids who believe their parents are still out there somewhere and keep faith, running around trying to find them. Mayle is a Keeper and believes that somewhere, her mother and older brother are still out there. Her brother had just turned eighteen the day before the Taking, and disappeared with her mother. You can be whatever, a Thriller or a Keeper or something else entirely!
