I got this off of google but whatever: Polites is portrayed as a kind, trusting, and optimistic character, often acting as a voice of peace and compassion, serving as Odysseus' closest friend who believes in approaching the world with openness and kindness, even when faced with danger; essentially embodying a "loyal, gentle pacifist”. (shoves him into shark infested water) YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED THE FIRST TIME!
*Polites screams as he is pushed into the water. He tries to swim but is too weak and starts to sink. He is now panicking and doesn't know what to do.*
*Polites is now bleeding from a large gash on his arm. He is now crying and is scared that he is going to die. He tries to stay afloat but is starting to lose strength.*
