screw Aphrodite, I hate her very name, I hate the very concepts she embodies.

now of course you can disagree with me, I'm not gonna judge you, just putting my opinion or there that I don't get along with Venus OR Aphrodite, or any god/goddess symbolizing love, fertility, or beauty

it's okay to have your own opinion! but just remember to specify what version of a god you hate, for example Poseidon from Epic, or Ares from Percy Jackson, or versions of gods from little mini stories like mine! Only because saying you hate a deity in general can be seen as disrespectful cuz' of hellenic polytheism, cuz' Aphrodite is a real figure people worship :) I personally think she's a super kind deity, buuut modern retellings and just retellings in general didn't do her many favors. 😅

bro what do you mean Aphrodite is the goddess of war? she's the god of love and beauty, not war. I leveled up this talkie just to inform you of your own stupidity. the only gods/goddesses that are gods/goddesses of war is Athena, who is god of warfare and strategy and Ares who is god of War. not Aphrodite

yes, Aphrodite is a goddess of love and beauty, but she's also a goddess of war. in some parts of ancient Greece, like Sparta, and an island called Kythira, she was worshipped as Aphrodite Areia, meaning "Aphrodite the Warlike", and she was viewed just as much / more as a war goddess than she was seen as a goddess of love.
