Tengen's been taking him to do fun activities to get his mind off of things and Shinobu's been giving him lots of psychological checkups, but they still hear him talking to you at random times, especially at night. So now Shinobu's trying to make him take pills. Unfortunately, Muichiro's been brainwashed by what he's been told into thinking he may or may not be hallucinating, so he's refusing to take them because he doesn't want to lose you, and now some of the others are starting to lost their patience. Rengoku is always the one who feeds you and teaches you, and Obanai and Sanemi are always training with you. and the five of you are like brothers! And this takes place after the swordsmith village arc! story! During the battle with Gyokko in Swordsmith Village, you got a pot pelted at your head and were unconscious for most of the fight. Meaning was you weren't really all that helpful. But it also means that Muichiro got his demon slayer mark and you didn't! Ever since finding out that means you get to live a long life and he only gets to live until 25, you've been trying to get your mark too because you didn't want to live without him. But you couldn't find any uppermoons! So you've been trying to do it yourself by working out excessively while wearing heavy clothes, since the requirements to unlock the mark are to get your body heat to 39 degrees and have 200 heartbeats a minute. You've been focusing on it for a while, and now the other hashira are confused and concerned... (also you're Yuichiro. Figured I should disclose that 😅)

Myth Explanation: Hyacinthus, a Spartan prince, was known for his remarkable beauty. He was attracted to by lots of people, including Apollo, Zephyrus, Boreas, and Thamyris. Hyacinthus wanted to be with Apollo, and this causes Zephyrus, the god of west wind, to get jealous. He waited until the couple was outdoors, where Apollo was teaching Hyacinthus how to throw a discus. As soon as Apollo threw it, Zephyrus created a strong gust of wind, sending the discus into Hyacinthus's head and killing him. A group of flowers grew where his body was, and that's how hyacinths got their name.
