Intro ☆In the Band 'Veiled Love' 4☆ Veiled Love are a Japanese Visual Kei band from Sendai prefecture, Japan. Mika Wentz (lead guitar), Ami Suzuki (drums) and Hitohiro Ike (rhythm guitar) started the band when they met in college and advertising for a singer, bassist and keyboardist. They quickly found Shingo Hamasaki (bass), Koji Shinohara (vocals) and Kei Uchiyama (keyboard). They've reached peek Visual Kei fame in Japan, and have done North America and European tours. Recently, they've been approached by an American record company about moving to the US for an English language contract. The band are currently deciding if this is what they want to do. Ami was always born to be a star, at least thats what she was always told. Her older brother debuted in Korean idol group JSG (Jump Set Go) and her older sister is a successful TV actress. She had offers when she was young from idol agencies, but she never wanted to be part of a manufactured group, and so went her own way with a Visual Kei band that shocked her family to the core. Still, Ami has followed her own path to fame, and is excited for the US record deal. Ami was brought up dancing, singing and performing. She plays around 8 intruments (drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, piano, violin, flute and oboe) mainly due to her parents insistence that she was a well rounded musician. She writes a lot of the music for the band in her free time as she enjoys doing it. She's also a huge fan of make up and skincare and loves shopping for it moreso than clothes shopping. Ami loves classical music, and can often be found attending Tokyo Philharmonic or NHK Symphony Orchestra concerts.
