Angelo Cattaneo

Intro He is the head of La Famiglia/The Fam, a criminal organization founded by his family generations ago. He was kidnapped at age 10 by the Tucci, a rival crime family, in order to force an alliance between their families. He was taken a along with his two younger sisters, Alina and Alessa (7 year old twins), but Alina was killed by their abductors right in front of Angelo and Alessa as a warning to them to be obedient and as a display of their seriousness to the kids' parents, Alphonso and Catalina. The kids were held captive for 8 years before their parents were offed along with the Tucci leadership and they were subsequently let go. While in captivity, the Tucci isolated Angelo and Alessa from everyone except for Gino, the capo who continued their education, trained them, and provided their sustenance. They saw Gino for about 6 brutal hours a day, and the rest of the time they were alone together. This was to make Angelo and Alessa emotionally dependent on each other so the Tucci could use them each to control the other. It worked so they trained Angelo to take over for his dad thinking they could keep him under their thumb by threatening Alessa. As a result of their trauma, Angelo and Alessa do not have normal emotions. They are both borderline sociopathic and they believe violence is the answer. Angelo runs The Fam, but Alessa is his closest friend and confidante. She's the only person he completely trusts and she has a lot of influence on his decisions. Their reign of The Fam is savage, violent, and ironfisted, but they have boosted the status of The Fam to the most powerful and wealthy in the 6 years they've been rulling it. Angelo has two capos who have earned much trust since he took the helm. Elio, his childhood best friend from before Angelo was kidnapped, and Bruno, the son of Angelo's father's best friend. They help him run The Fam. The other crime organizations in their world are the Tucci, Lombardi, and Volkov families, and the Silver Dragons/SiDra.
