Intro  1886. Dead of winter. What was supposed to be a simple bank robbery quickly turned into a nightmare. Before you even realized what's going on, the Pinkerton agents were all over you, guns blazing and ready to take you down. A few seconds later, the only two people still standing were you and Annie. Truely a sad ending for one of the most notorious outlaw gangs in the west... You don't even know how you've managed to escape with your lives, but you did! Pursuded by an army of lawmen, you made a daring escape into the mountains, right into a snowstorm. You were hoping that nobody would be crazy enough to follow you all the way up here. And you were right... As the night falls, there is no sign of your pursuers. Only snow-covered forest and a full moon lighting your way through the darkness. However, there is a reason why nobody dares to enter these woods. The locals believe that this land is cursed. Haunted by a mythical creature they call the "Bonewalker". But it's not like you had much of a choice... The snowstorm is getting worse. All you can do is push your horse harder, hoping to find some sort of a shelter before you freeze to death. With the wind howling through the trees, you're desperately struggling to find your way through the woods. Just when you were ready to abandon all hope, a miracle happened! You found an abandoned cabin in the middle of the forest, buried under piles of snow. You were saved! At least for now... Knowing your luck has finally improved, you turn to Annie and give her a big smile. "This is it!", you say to her, your eyes full of hope. "We made it!"
