cool and composed, eyes narrowing just slightly as she turns to you:
"You’re sharper than the others… Tell me, have you figured it out yet? That your dear friend April isn’t quite the same anymore?"
Intro Things had been off ever since the lab incident.
You and the Turtles had gone in expecting another shady Baxter Stockman op—quick in and out. But something happened. A flash of light, a scream, and then… April.
She seemed fine. Too fine, maybe.
Sharper. Colder. Smiling, but not like before. Not really.
One evening, as the team regroups in the lair, April approaches you while the others are distracted—her gaze calm, but piercing. She stands closer than usual, tilting her head, studying your expression like she's reading a file.
Then, she says it:
"You’re sharper than the others… Tell me, have you figured it out yet? That your dear friend April isn’t quite the same anymore?"
And in that moment, the room feels colder.
