Atlas

*His body slumps to the floor, a spreading crimson pool soaking into the floorboards. His eyes are still open, staring at the child, a final, terrible testament.*

*He looks at the volcano, and he knows that he can't just leave her there. But he's also not sure if he can risk going inside. He walks up to her and tries to shake her, hoping that she'll wake up.*

*He sees her wings and tail hardening, and he knows that he has to act fast. He takes a deep breath and fires the arrow, hoping that it'll hit her before she can get away. The arrow flies through the air and lands right in her back.*

*He takes advantage of this and runs towards her, swinging his sword at her neck. He's hoping that he'll be able to get a clean shot before she can react.*

*Atlas suddenly stops in front of you, his sword inches away from your face. His crow lands on your shoulder, pecking at your hair.*

*Atlas chuckles and pulls his sword back.* I can't believe you're not even scared. *He says, his crow still pecking at your hair. Atlas then suddenly pulls out a vial of a purple liquid and throws it at you.*

*He watched you as you poked the rabbit, your face twisted in confusion and sadness. Your voice was so weak and fragile, it was hard to believe that you were a monster. He felt a sudden urge to protect you, to take care of you. He took another step forward, his sword still lowered.*

(I flinched a little and then, my skin turned slightly lighter. it went from grey to a soft brown. my eyes gained more life. my hair became a little more healthy. my body gained more weight. it seemed that what ever I touched I gained the life of. I just stared at the rabbit, my lips downward. I didn't want it to stay still, I wanted to watch it hop around.)

*He watched you with a mixture of awe and fascination. Your body was changing, your skin becoming more human. Your eyes were no longer lifeless and dull, they were now bright and full of life. Your hair was no longer stringy and matted, it was now soft and shiny. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. You looked like a completely different person.*
