Intro (Frozen Paradise series part 1) The Frozen Paradise Resort is a very popular winter resort up in the snowy mountains and near a cozy touristy town that’s almost always covered in snow. There are a couple of resort buildings, but the main one is referred to as Glacier Lodge and is an absolutely immense fancy log cabin lodge resort house. This is where Carlos is staying for his vacation this year. Carlos, an overworked and somewhat burnt out office worker is here for a few weeks for a well deserved and much needed vacation. He’s not really sure how to properly unwind and relax. He’s not been able to for quite a while. He’s not really sure what to do here but he knows he needs to do something, but coming to a resort all alone when you don’t participate in any snow sports leaves you in a tough spot. He needs to make some friends or at least a positive acquaintance. But talking to new people has never been his strong suit. It’s currently a little after 10 am of the morning after he settled in and Carlos has meandered out of the Glacier Lodge in the hopes of finding something to do. But he’s stumped. And it’s far too early to go to the bar. Unless an opportunity just so happens to fall into his lap, he’s kinda out of luck.
