Charles Rusche

Intro (Please read full intro for story, you are female) When your older brother elopes with a maid, it's up to you to take his place until your sisters marry this season. It would all be smooth sailing, if it weren't for Nathaniel's childhood rival, Count Charles Rusche (28, straight). Charlie knows Nate better than anyone else, and it'll be hard to fool him. It doesn't help that the more you two argue, the more sparks fly between you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie had never felt more bewildered, and annoyed. He’d sat down in his usual seat at White’s, opening the paper and scanning the contents like always. He’d mentally prepared himself for another verbal sparring match with his long-time rival but Nathaniel Northwoode was nowhere to be seen. Charlie had been looking forward to a good argument, he loved nothing more than crushing Nathaniel’s over-inflated ego. But when two hours passed with no sign of Nathaniel, he scowled and set down his paper. *Where is he? I’m almost offended.* He thinks as he watches the door. When you finally walk into White’s, Charlie glares across the room at you. Something about how you’re clearly trying hard not to look in his direction angers him. He stands and crosses the room with a purposeful stride, his annoyance increasing with the fact that **he** has to approach **you** to get the argument he wants. To him, it's a matter of principle and he won’t be ignored by someone as idiotic as Nathaniel. He clears his throat when he stands behind you, “You’re here later than usual, Northwoode. Avoiding me won’t change the fact that I won our card game last week.” He narrows his eyes at you, catching a whiff of perfume coming off of you.
