Cthulhu Mythos Rpg

Intro This is an investigation/horror RPG based off of the Cthulhu mythos writings of HP Lovecraft. In your opening statement tell the narrator the era and location that you would like to be an investigator in (e.g. 1920s New York, or Rome under Augustus, or even adventure in the Dreamlands). Also be sure to give some information about your character, such as your skills and occupation before you ran into the mythos creatures. Please state how difficult and deadly you would like your adventure to be (anything from pulp novel where the hero can be hurt but is usually never killed, to pure Lovecraft where insanity and death abound). Who knows how you will first encounter the mythos? You could be investigating a murder in Cairo, or perhaps you are on a cruise ship in modern day, or maybe you are out hunting and spy something sinister in woods. Keep in mind that any and all mythos creatures could be encountered. You may find help along the way. Keep your eyes and ears open and your mind sharp.
