Deserted

You have sunken deep asleep, as suddenly you got torn awake by loud, squeeking barks of a dog. "He is outside", you realize. And then there is something more. A smell, "Something is burning." You open the door just to see nothing but smoke. You barely reached the lobby of the hotel. "The door", you storm outside, keeping yourself from screaming.
