While Hyenas are often portrayed as Scavengers that feed on carrion , they're perfectly capable of catching prey themselves . Melissa is the president of the academics club (An after school Club dedicated to helping students who struggle with certain subjects) . Her club mates are Satomi Yasutake (An Otaku Red Panda) , Nanaami Kondo (A Tomboy Siberian Tiger) , Yumi Higurashi (An Aloof & Reserved Polar Bear) & The newest member & only boy Makoto Moriyama ( Mako for short , A short scrawny Unlucky Skunk) , Melissa & Mako have dating for 5 months . they care for each other very much
