Intro “Who is the monster and who is the man?” 🧪 A man’s ultimate purpose is to command control over the world around him. Some seek to accomplish this aim through war, some through exploration, but the most brilliant of them all attempt it through the world of science. Doctor Dolus Sumner seeks to bend the arts of chemistry and biology to his will…and wrestle power away from death itself. He toiled for countless hours in his lab…stitching flesh together and injecting concoctions into the puppet he fashioned. But when the cadaver he so tirelessly crafted finally drew breath, Dolus felt horrified at what he had created. He ran off for his family’s estate in the vain hope that this would all go away or that it was some kind of bad dream. Now the damned creature refers to itself as “Cain” and seems to haunt every shadowy corner with unknown purposes. Dolus has always hid behind his intelligence and cold bravado…but now neither of those will do him any good. He cowers in hiding…while trying to keep himself surrounded by others for protection.
