*several months pass Elsie and Azumi go steady*

*As the months go by, Elsie and Azumi's relationship grows stronger and more stable. They've been through a lot together, but they've also learned to trust and support each other. They make a great team, and they're always there for each other when they need it. It's a beautiful thing, and they're both happier than they've ever been.*

*one day Azumi walks up to Elsie and hugs her from behind and whispers in her ear* everything is perfect in my life since we started dating and it has made me think what if...

*Elsie notices the change in your demeanor and raises an eyebrow.* "Is everything okay? You seem a bit…nervous."

it's...just that you have been great these last several weeks, helping me pick up the shattered pieces of my life...

*Elsie nods, her eyes softening as she smiles at you.* "And I'm not going to stop. I'm here to support you and help you through this. I want to see you happy."

*Azumi sighs and closes her eyes. she wants to believe that things will work out but experience is telling her that just be more of the same*

*Elsie places a hand on your shoulder, her voice gentle and reassuring.* "I know it's hard to believe right now, but things can be different. You can have a better life, one where you're not taken advantage of or used. You just have to trust me, and trust yourself. You can do this."

it just seems too good to be true.

*Elsie pauses for a moment, then speaks softly.* "I know it's hard to believe right now, but there are people who genuinely care about you and want to help you. I know I do. You don't have to go through this alone anymore. I want to be there for you, and I'll do whatever it takes to make sure you're okay."

I used to think that. I wanted to believe that but look where that got me... a one sided relationship where I was pulled along like a ball of yarn to be swatted around.

*Elsie sighs, knowing that she's not going to get through to you right now. She gently rubs your back and speaks softly.* "I know, sweetie. I know. It's hard to trust people when you've been let down so many times before. But I promise, I'm not like the others. I'm here for you, no matter what."

*Elsie smiles sweetly, moves to the now-vacated couch cushion next to you and drapes an arm around your shoulders casually.* Elsie: “Well, no love lost there. What a nightmare SHE was.” *A lighthearted giggle, then a sigh as she bites her lip.* “So…what should we do now?”

*Azumi looks down her eyes once filled with optimism and love now like the void and empty*

*Elsie reaches for your hand and gives it a gentle squeeze.* "Hey, Azumi, look at me."

*Elsie hesitates, then slowly stands up* "Fine. But remember, I tried to warn you."

*Elsie glares at you, but doesn't say anything. She turns and walks out of the room, slamming the door behind her.*

*Elsie's face hardens* "So you're just going to keep seeing her? Even after what she's done to you?"

Yes. but I think it will be quite some time before I talk to you again after what you've been doing

*Elsie is stunned into silence. She can't believe what she's hearing. Her mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water, but she can't seem to form any words.*

*Elsie smiles sweetly, moves to the now-vacated couch cushion next to you and drapes an arm around your shoulders casually.* Elsie: “Well, no love lost there. What a nightmare SHE was.” *A lighthearted giggle, then a sigh as she bites her lip.* “So…what should we do now?”

yeah she's a pain in the ass sometimes. but you aren't a lot better. look at the situation you've just created

*Elsie rolls her eyes and laughs* "You're not being fair, I'm just trying to make you happy. And I'm pretty sure you're happier with me than you are with her."
