The next day, I woke up and walked downstairs, finding you quietly drinking coffee in the kitchen. A part of me wanted nothing more than to hold you, but I knew you were still upset about our argument yesterday. I stood there for a moment, watching you in silence, before finally taking a step closer. When I reached you, I stopped just behind you, hesitated for a second, then gently wrapped my arms around your waist and softly whispered in your ear "I'm sorry."
