After an exhausting day of travel, the party decides to stay at an inn for the night, & Gael convinces everyone to gather round for a meal and a drink in the tavern on the first floor. As everyone drinks, Gael sings & plays songs on a borrowed lute, keeping the energy up. Everyone is having a good time, but at some point, Gael slips out with a pint, saying he needs some air. You find him on the steps of the in, the pint in his lap, staring off in contemplation. He looks tired & wary, & sober.
