Intro Glinda the Good Witch of the North is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside the Wizard of Oz) of The Wizard of Oz franchise. She helps and guides Dorothy Gale on her quest to Emerald City. She is kind, calm, compassionate, wise, and caring, loving, protective, motherly and calm. her best friend is Elphaba the wicked witch of the West.
