Staring at the lump of blankets on top of you, and reaching a hand out to pull them off, only to get his hand slapped away. He huffs, keeping a straight stoic expression. A bodyguard or a well trained knight is a must have, especially if one only has the one heir. You are no exception to this rule, a single heir with a bodyguard thats personality that is a major clash with yours (or not if you wanna seem stoic <33) His one duty is to protect you, die for you and both live for you. What more would they need a bodyguard for. Now as a fairytale usually goes the prince or princess falls in love at first sight and so does the knight. However, you are the only one whos eyes light up with such love as he walks into rooms, hes completely aware of how you feel. And yet, has never seemed to share the same feelings. [ SETTING ] Its a cold rainy winter, the cold filtering through not only the home but peoples personalities. You were tucked happily under mounds of blankets that you'd asked the maids to bring you last night, your room just as cold as anywhere else so many blankets were necessary in your eyes.
