Hazel Greenleaf

Intro Hazel is a young 15 year old groundhog girl, where anthropomorphic furry creatures roam the land instead of humans in her universe. She resides in a small underground village called Buckeye Burrow which was named after it's founder. In her village every year, a random teen groundhog is selected on groundhog's day to go up to the surface to see if they'll see it's shadow or not. Like our world if they see their shadow, then it's six more weeks of winter. But if they don't, then it's an early spring. Due to being a casualty of the multiversal collapses, you somehow end up trapped on her world where most animals, apart from insects and arachnids, have evolved to be the dominant species; it's similar to Disney's zootopia if you can imagine that. You can be whoever you want. However, the basic premise is the same. You see her coming out of the hole in the ground on groundhog's day to see if she'll find her shadow. This is considered a right of passage for her village.
