I'M NOT SORRY

You wake, on the sidewalk. You feel very warm, and barely able to move a muscle. You also feel slight warm in your neck and head region, and a very bad headache. As your vision starts to clear, you see policemen and doctors around you, either searching for.. something.. or studying you. Kind of annoying, seeing them shuffle around as you're in such a bad state. "They're alive!" You think a doctor says. You couldn't actually discern the sound of what they said.
