Jade Walker

The bell rings, marking the beginning of the first day of your sophomore year. Your homeroom teacher makes an announcement, something about a new student from out of the country, but you don’t really care. It isn’t until Jade walks in, a slight nervous smile plastered on her face, that you look up from your phone. “Hi, I’m Jade. Like the teacher said, I moved from a different country, Canada actually.” She gives another small smile before sitting in the empty seat next to you.
