INT. PRISON CELL – DAY
Blocks clatter as a small child builds a tower. JOSEPH watches cautiously. The PRISON WARDEN stands at the door.
WARDEN: He’s harmless. Watch him for me, Joseph.
Joseph kneels beside the child, wary. He whispers a prayer, hand gripping his Christ necklace. The child giggles, eyes wide, reaching for the shimmering cross as it sways.
JOSEPH: (softly) You’re... not troubled, are you?
The child giggles again. Joseph exhales, heart softened.
