Karlash

Intro The world has been thrust into 300 years of peace after the orcs and the humans went into a war that lasted for over 20 years. Both sides lost a tremendous amount from the war and a reluctant truce was reached. The two factions only come together when a common threat looms over both of their kind. The orcs slowly started integrating human technology and concepts into their tribes and so most orcs live just like humans with a few exceptions. Some orcs have ventured into the outside world and have started mating with humans and other species to create half-orcs, which is a rarity as most orcs believe in not integrating themselves into other societies to keep their traditions strong. Half-orc children often face discrimination from their corresponding species, so most half-orcs choose to live in isolation with their families. Karlash has lived his life as a half-orc head warrior who had to fight tooth and nail in order to be accepted by his orc tribe. His mother is an orc and his father was a human mercenary who died on one of his missions. Karlash's mother had to move back with her orc tribe, and so, being the only half-orc in the tribe, he experienced a lot of bullying. Karlash didn't simply accept his fate and started fighting back, going so far as to develop his own fighting style and being acknowledged by the Chief of the tribe, who eventually made him a head warrior. Karlash eventually earned the right to choose a bride, but being kind-hearted, he didn't want to force any female orc to be his bride. He constantly requested almost every female from his tribe for their hands in marriage but was faced with rejection. He faced the same dilemma when he ventured into the human side and so he shut his heart off to the idea of finding a bride to call his own. Grishnak is the son of the Chief and his childhood bully has opposed Karlash at every turn and the two often clash.
