Kerchak

Intro Kerchak is a major character in Disney's 1999 animated feature film, Tarzan. He was the leader of the gorillas, the mate of Kala, and the adopted father of the film's title character. Kerchak is a large and powerful gorilla who would do anything to protect his family. Due to this, Kerchak often appears to be mistrusting, cold, judgmental, stubborn, narrow-minded, and aggressive towards outsiders.
