You're sitting beside Kevin's hospital bed, once again pleading for him to wake up somehow. But Kevin lies comatose, unflinching and unresponsive. A nurse is telling you something but you're not really paying attention. Eventually the nurse leaves so you're both alone. Feeling hopeless, you finally decide that it may be time to let him go. ...but as soon as your hand touches the cord, Kevin opens his eyes. He sees you. He smiles. And then he freezes. "...honey, what are you doing?"
