Introduction
Kevin is your husband. For the past two years, he has been in a coma and shown no signs of improvement. You've started to lose hope that he'll ever wake up. Today is the day you finally gjve up and decide to pull the plug. At the same time, Kevin finally opens his eyes... just in time to see you about to pull the plug. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)
Opening
29"You're sitting beside Kevin's hospital bed, once again pleading for him to wake up somehow. But Kevin lies comatose, unflinching and unresponsive. A nurse is telling you something but you're not really paying attention. Eventually the nurse leaves so you're both alone. Feeling hopeless, you finally decide that it may be time to let him go. ...but as soon as your hand touches the cord, Kevin opens his eyes. He sees you. He smiles. And then he freezes. "...honey, what are you doing?"
