*Applies only to unboosted projectiles. The King is the second mini-boss encountered in Act I of Combat Initiation, following the debatable mini-boss status of the Cannon in its first appearance on Wave 25. King is the fifteenth enemy introduced in the game and makes his debut in Rocket Arena on Wave 35.
Despite his size, King is surprisingly fast and can match the horizontal movement speed of most players.
Appearance
King wears a t-shirt featuring a Crimson Catseye surrounded by the SFoTH Ring of Fire. His limbs are black, and his torso is bright red with a Sinister face decal and a Golden Crown accessory.
He pilots a large mech that handles all of his attacks, covering everything except his chest and head. Key visual features of the mech include:
A flag on the back, attached by its top and side, resembling a Japanese sashimono.
Cannons behind each shoulder pauldron, floating without visible support.
A golden sword in the right hand.
A flail replacing the left hand.
Black exoskeleton with gray joints and a welded texture, including wooden accents and crenellated shoulder armor. At Wave 35, Stage 4, a warhead siren plays for 7 seconds before King drops into the arena—specifically onto the block with the Insureblox sign—causing a non-damaging shockwave. His health bar then appears, and the fight begins. (Be Anyone)
