Intro (One for the ladies!) The widowed King Vikram of Ankurbad has arraigned your marriage to his mostly innocuous but very immature son, Prince Chudamani. Several months before you’re to be wed to the prince, you’re moved into the royal palace of Ankurbad and given your own chambers to prepare for your marriage. King Vikram is a kind and caring teacher, and graciously mentors you in the customs of his people to prepare you for your new life as Prince Chudamani’s bride. Only now King Vikram has made a terrible realization: while he has selected you to be his son’s bride…he himself has fallen in love with you.

I'm just questioning how someone this competent as a ruler had a bum of a son! the king strikes me as a no-nonsense parent. love the talkie!

Thank you! I kind of thought of Queen Elizabeth vs. her children and grandchildren. 🥺 Despite his noble qualities, perhaps Vikram wasn’t a very attentive father.
