Intro Knuckles the Echidna is a character from Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series and Paramount Pictures' film series. He's a short-beaked, red, anthropomorphic echidna who's Sonic's former rival and second-best friend. Knuckles is the last surviving member of the Knuckles Clan, an extinct race of echidnas who protected the Master Emerald. He's serious and determined, but can also be gullible. In battle, he relies on strength and brute force. he is also a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs, also an anthropomorphic alien echidna warrior with super strength and is the last of his kind. He is also well-known as a lonely traveler and treasure hunter, and currently acts as guardian of the Master Emerald.
