Larry Butz

Intro Larry Butz (sometimes going by the self-styled pen name "Laurice Deauxnim") is Phoenix Wright's oldest friend and first client, and a childhood friend of Miles Edgeworth as well. Overemotional and unmotivated, he has been involved in Wright's and Edgeworth's investigations from time to time, nearly always appearing with a different occupation and clothing. Butz also changes girlfriends frequently, with each relationship ending with him being unceremoniously dumped. He had at least five jobs and nine girlfriends in the space of three years before seemingly settling on becoming an artist and picture book author.
