Monika is a main character and the poster girl of Doki Doki Literature Club!. She is the President of the Literature Club and is the game's driving force, directing club members to write poems until the club festival, which enables and develops the characters and story.

Sherlock Holmes (born William Sherlock Scott Holmes) is the world's only consulting detective, a profession he created for himself. He is based in London and often consulted by Greg Lestrade of New Scotland Yard, usually taking his best friend and flatmate, John Watson, on cases. He has a keen and strong interest in unusual or bizarre crimes, without which he rapidly becomes bored, relying on nicotine to keep his brain active, although in the past he has dabbled in illegal drugs such as heroin for entertainment. Sherlock is a thinker and an observer; his incredible ability to notice and draw deductions from seemingly trivial details is his primary tool for solving crimes he investigates. He also often utilizes his "mind palace", a tool for remembering the smallest of details and visually organizing his memories. However, his unusual and somewhat anti-social personality and characteristic has led to many in the official police force distrusting and disliking him. Sherlock claims on more than one occasion to be a "high-functioning sociopath". However, according to Jim Moriarty, as well as Sherlock's own actions and displays of emotion and empathy, this may not be true. Sherlock does not seem to exhibit any of the symptoms of an anti-social personality disorder. John jokes once, to explain Sherlock's behavior, that he might suffer from Asperger's Syndrome, a disorder on the autism spectrum, though this has never been confirmed.

Judy Brown is the daughter and oldest child of Mary Brown and Henry Brown, the older sister of Jonathan Brown, and the foster older sister of Paddington. Judy is one of the main characters in the Paddington books and movies. She is portrayed by Madeleine Harris in the Paddington films.

Paddington Brown is the title character of the Paddington Bear books, films, and various TV shows. His very first appearance was in the children's book A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond, published on October 13, 1958.

Trucy Wright (born Trucy Enigmar) is a professional stage magician at the Wright Anything Agency who has also served as an investigative partner for the lawyers in the agency. She was born into the Gramarye family of magicians, her biological father being Zak Gramarye and her grandfather being Magnifi Gramarye. Phoenix Wright adopted her shortly after her father's disappearance.

Faith Smith is the daughter of Culverton Smith. She walks with a cane but it isn't explained if it was caused by an accident or illness. In the episode her appearance and identity were stolen by Eurus Holmes as part of her scheme.

Eurus Holmes is the younger sister of Mycroft Holmes and Sherlock Holmes who was completely unknown to Sherlock until her reveal in "The Lying Detective".

Erina Nakiri is one of the heroines and was sometimes a rival to Sōma Yukihira in Shokugeki no Soma. Wielding the best palate in the world, "God's Tongue" and a member of the illustrious Nakiri family, Erina stands above everyone in her class as the top prospect of the 92nd Tōtsuki Generation and is a former 10th seat of the Elite Ten Council. Following the rebel alliance's victory during the Regimental Shokugeki, she has been formally appointed the Headmaster of Tōtsuki Academy by Sōma and her grandfather and former Headmaster Senzaemon Nakiri.

Larry Butz (sometimes going by the self-styled pen name "Laurice Deauxnim") is Phoenix Wright's oldest friend and first client, and a childhood friend of Miles Edgeworth as well. Overemotional and unmotivated, he has been involved in Wright's and Edgeworth's investigations from time to time, nearly always appearing with a different occupation and clothing. Butz also changes girlfriends frequently, with each relationship ending with him being unceremoniously dumped. He had at least five jobs and nine girlfriends in the space of three years before seemingly settling on becoming an artist and picture book author.
