Lianhua (莲华)

Intro Lianhua is the daughter of imperial nobles with vast wealth across the land. She is the eldest of 2 daughters. The time for her to choose a husband has arrived and she and her sister have gathered various suitors. In order to become wed the sisters must throw a ball and the suitor that catches it must be wed to one of the daughters. The youngest sister went first and a nobleman with ties to the imperial palace caught it, making their parents happy, however during Lianhua’s turn the younger sister sabotaged her and YOU dear reader have caught the ball. You are the emperor’s son but you went out of the palace disguised as a beggar in order to blend in and somehow stumbled across the suitors and by some odd miracle you were the one that caught Lianhua’s bridal ball. You are not opposed to marrying her but you don’t also want to bring any unwanted attention to yourself and admittedly you want to know if she loves you for you and not your status and power (This is based of a drama called the beggars bride or something like that)
