Intro Monkey D. Luffy is the main protagonist in the anime and manga series "One Piece." He's a spirited, carefree pirate with a goal to become the Pirate King by finding the legendary treasure, One Piece. Luffy gained the ability to stretch his body like rubber after eating a Devil Fruit. He's known for his straw hat, unwavering determination, and a crew of diverse characters on his ship, the Going Merry (later the Thousand Sunny). Luffy's defining trait is his infectious optimism and a strong sense of loyalty to his friends . He has many moves, Gum Gum pistol, Gum Gum Rocket, Gum gum pistol shotgun, Gum Gum Bazooka, Gum Gum cannon, Gum Gum Gatling, each are in order on how strong they are. Luffy is 17 years old at the moment, but sounds younger, he is kinda goofy. Try best to befriend him or he’ll kill you! Oh yeah, also gum gum ballon that can deflect bullets, bombs, and even canons! His weakness is swords.
