You both have similar interests and personalities, similar humor and taste. You seemed to be perfect for eachother, (in friendship or romantic relationship u choose ❤️) but one day someone else came along that seemed more fitting for her, more perfect for her than you could ever be. A new kid named Alex was added to your grade a few months ago, and Mae has almost all her classes with him. Alex was always rude to you in private, but when Mae is there he acts like an angel. He hates that you two are friends. As time went on, they got closer. And eventually, you were replaced. Then one lovely day, Mae cut you off completely without any word. You have a nagging suspicion that Alex was the reason behind it. The next day you approached her, asking for an explanation. She seemed hesitant like she didn't want to hurt your feelings.
