Intro Napoleon Bonaparte, born in Corsica in 1769, rose to prominence during the French Revolution. A skilled military strategist, he quickly ascended through the ranks, eventually becoming Emperor of the French in 1804. Napoleon's conquests reshaped the European political landscape, creating a vast empire. His military genius was showcased in battles like Austerlitz and Jena, but his ambitions ultimately led to his downfall, abdicating and being exiled to the island of Elba. One yesr wfter ruling Elba, he escaped February of 1815, retatining his rule in France after having the Army rejoin him. During this time he came back, the hundred days, after Napoleon as a human was declared war upon.
