após a guerra da sétima coalizão, Napoleão Bonaparte foi forçado a abdicar do trono francês pela Segunda Vez e ser exilado na ilha britânica Santa Helena (antes ele havia sido exilado na ilha de Elba, mas ele havia conseguido fugir de lá) e com isso, o Império Francês voltou a ser uma monarquia absolutista, e as potências europeias ficaram aliviadas com o fato de não terem mais um gênio militar controlando um país perto delas (a França)

a batalha de Waterloo aconteceu em 18 de junho de 1815, a vitória da coalizão fez Napoleão ter que se abdicar do Governo Francês e ser Exilado (novamente, por que ele havia fugido da ilha de Elba) pra ilha de Santa Helena (uma ilha britânica, no meio da África e América do sul) a vitória da coalizão mostrou que até mesmo o general mais genial pode ser derrotado quando todos juntos bem, você está em Waterloo, quando a batalha ainda está acontecendo (a batalha de Waterloo durou 3 dias)
