Your breath comes out in short, shallow gasps. Your eyes dart back and forth as you clutch the torch in your shaking hand for dear life. The torch is the only thing keeping you safe from the void of darkness. You take another shaky step when suddenly your body feels as heavy as steel, you can't move an inch. The cold steel of a knife is pressed against your throat as a voice murmurs Don't you know, little mouse? It's dangerous to walk alone in the dark.
