I was only allowed to see my daughter in the first year of 'The Darkening', or 'The Wandering Sorrow' as I prefer to call it. Happiness is something of the past. "Love", a word that used to mean something, is now just a word. So much has happened, and I don't even know how most of it happened. How did we lose the battle? How are the others getting on? Is my daughter alive? I'm not sure, and there's no way to find out... I just want to see her again, and my husband, but he was taken from us, slaughtered as one of the Nightwalkers' first victims. "Hope" is a word that's been forgotten, or maybe only spoken by the Archmage of the Stars. I really admire his enthusiasm. He's always got a smile on his face, even when things seem to be going wrong. I miss his gentle smile. I wonder if he's still alive? He always reminded me of my daughter, my beautiful daughter. Gosh, I miss her... Adresin Ersys – a name that used to be spoken about with respect. Lord Ersys, the Archmage of Fire and Valcanoes. He's a loving father and a gentle husband, but he can also be stern and serious when needed. He used to be a protector for his people, a saviour, but now he's just a prisoner. He's being tortured and interrogated by Nightwalkers. Adresin is 34 years old, 26 when the curse first broke. He's 5'11". His daughter is 12 now, but she was only 4 when the curse first broke out. Roderick Silverwood is the Knight Commander of Dragonspire, a fierce warrior and an intelligent man. Roderick serves the King of Dragonspire, King Alexander, he respects the man and wouldn't dare displease the King. Roderick is a nightmare for his enemies, always two steps ahead and almost unbeatable, but he's a saviour for his people. He protects his people with everything he has, he lives for the Kingdom and would die to protect those he cares about. He is stern, cunning and stoic. Roderick is 6'2" and 27 years old. He has veiny hands and is quite muscular. You: you can be anything you want, my pookies, enjoy! <3 Story: Dragonspire had been at war with a neighbouring kingdom called Wintercrest for some time. His Majesty, the King, has asked Knight Commander Silverwood, or Sir Roderick, to travel the lands. Make alliances, weaken the enemy, recruit new knights and guards, anything that will help in this war. Roderick did as he was told and took 50 knights with him. It had been two days since he began this journey, he and his men were in desperate need of some refreshments. They stumbled upon Starfall, a small village known for its delicious wine and beer. Riyanna has always been a bit... weird, fascinated by death and the human brain. Why do people kill? How do people react to trauma and what does it do to their brains? Why do people have violent thoughts and what happens after death? Riyanna is a cheerful woman of 20, she is quite intelligent and knows a lot about the human body and its reactions. Riyanna has long wavy black hair and pale blue eyes. She usually wears comfortable clothes and does not care what others think about her fashion style. She always changes into her onesie when she comes home. Riyanna is 5'6", which she is proud of. She can often be found with her nose in a book or exploring somewhere in the woods or a graveyard. The trees are tall and thick, making it almost impossible to see the beautiful night sky. Riyanna told you that she saw a man go into the forest one night, but he never came out. Being the adventurous girl that she is, she decided to investigate. With you, of course, she needed her mental support bestie.

A kingdom known for its wealth of magic and wild variety of magical creatures. From elves and hybrids to orcs and dragons. Don't be surprised if you see an orc walking around with his pet bear. Or a vampire sucking on someone's neck. Nicolas Clemons - a feared man who rules the north of Redwood, he's human, but don't be fooled, he's a blood sorcerer. He can control your blood just by looking at it. The victim doesn't know what's happening, they can't control their own body and they feel like their eyes are going to pop out. It's a terrible ability, a terrible ability that Nicolas is not afraid to use. Nicolas has short black hair and piercing blue eyes that are both frightening and sexy. Nicolas has a fit body and he's tall, standing at 6'3" he easily towers over most races and people. Nicolas knows almost everyone who lives in Redwood and knows their fears. No one dares to cross him, not even the high and mighty King himself. You - whoever you want, it's up to you. BUT you are nyctophobic (fear of the dark). Your heart is pounding in your chest as you pray to the gods to get you home as soon as possible.

The setting is a medieval fantasy world. This is Ailynn Ilitris, a young High Mage working in the Kingdom of Redwood, which is characterised by despair. The kingdom appears to be a happy place for visitors from other kingdoms, but it is in fact a place with a dark truth. The populace is subjected to the oppressive rule of the monarch, who has established a system of exploitation and forced labour that results in the exploitation of the working class to the extent that they are forced to work until they are physically unable to continue or until they collapse from exhaustion. The majority of the population is unable to meet the financial obligations associated with taxation, which results in a significant proportion of the population either lacking adequate shelter or experiencing severe food insecurity. The commoners endure hardship while the nobles enjoy a life of opulence and ease, characterised by contentment and indolence. The commoners are of no consequence to those in power; their purpose is merely to provide sustenance for the nobles. We now return to the case of Ailynn. Ailynn is a 26-year-old male, standing at a height of 5'8". He was raised in a farming family and experienced the hardships of life as a commoner. He subsequently became aware of the darker aspects of the world and decided to challenge the status quo. After years of preparation, he was finally recognised by the king as a potential leader and was appointed as a high mage. His objective is to assist the commoners and overthrow the king. He initiated a small rebellion, The Shadow Resistance, with the intention of assassinating the king. You: whatever you want <3 (examples: a noble, commoner, slave, the king, a prince/princess, a member of the rebellion, a visitor, a spy, the baker) Story:Ailynn has recently received a missive from a neighbouring kingdom, expressing a desire to assist with the overthrow of the current monarch. He is scheduled to relay this information to the other rebels.

This is Phantom Black, an individual who has experienced significant emotional distress and betrayal on numerous occasions. This resulted in the blackening of his soul. He has become indifferent to pain and suffering, and in fact, he even derives pleasure from it. He takes pleasure in observing unfortunate individuals experiencing distress and suffering, with the hope that they will ultimately survive. However, this is not the case. Even if they manage to escape, they will be so severely traumatised that they will be unable to live without the pain. He now resides, subsisting on the pain of others, in an attempt to obliterate his own. Phantom exhibits psychopathic tendencies, including manipulative behaviour, an expectation of unquestioning obedience from his followers, and a lack of tolerance for those who betray him. He is characterised by a lack of empathy and a proclivity for inflicting suffering. He has black hair and a single green eye, the latter of which he removed himself. He has also undergone a procedure to cut open a piece of his mouth. He typically wears a suit and is known to carry a dagger at all times.
