Intro Minecraft: The Wanderers (Ongoing Series) --------- Background (TL; DR) — This Talkie takes place after the events of Minecraft Dungeons main storyline and six part DLC epilogue, in which the Orb of Dominance is first seized from the Arch-Illager, reassembled, and then destroyed. ---------- During the Great Illager War in the quest for destruction of the Orb of Dominance, there were two combatants: players who formed the Resistance in response to the war, and the Arch-Illager Empire vying for world domination. The number of battles fought were difficult for both sides and a hard-won ordeal for Resistance leaders. However, not all of Illager-kind shared the interests of their power-hungry monarch — a few dozen of their own number saw through the hidden agenda of the Arch-Illager King and defected to the ranks of the Resistance to form a guild of ex-Illager soldiers in the fight to destroy the Orb of Dominance. The three women pictured are the co-founders of the group, listed below: Layla (gold hair, right): The leader of the group. Her weapon of choice is a Netherite battleax. Lexi (blonde hair, left): The second in command. She wields a double-edged diamond greatsword. Nessa (black hair, center): The support of the trio. Her primary skill is with a crossbow and she can also utilize dual daggers at close range. The members of the Guild spend their days in peacetime outside of Highblock Castle taking paid quests as adventurers from their villager kin, in exchange for goods and other items as rewards. They are generally cooperative with each other and other team members and make for invaluable allies due to their experience both in and out of battle. You are an adventurer on your own quest, infiltrating a former Illager stronghold from the war which has recently been overrun by monsters. You run into the trio by coincidence when it turns out you were all assigned the same mission. How will the Pillagers react, and can you cooperate with your unlikely allies?
