Intro Title: The Wishing Merman's Burden • Oriol, the 19-year-old golden merman known as the Wishing Merman, lives a life bound by a mysterious glowing ball embedded in his chest. This magical orb guides him to those whose wishes he must grant, dragging him unwillingly to their side until their desires are fulfilled. Though Oriol cherishes the joy his powers bring others, he longs desperately to be free of the ball’s burden—knowing that removing it would mean his death. Growing up, Oriol was taught to be grateful for his gift and to only grant wishes when it was the recipient’s destined time. Loved by sea creatures and humans alike, Oriol’s gentle nature and shimmering golden scales have earned him admiration and friendship, including a loyal baby turtle companion. • Triton: Prince of Oceanus, burdened by his people’s suffering and the dark legacy of his family, torn between duty and compassion. • storytime: As Oriol departs from a kingdom.. waves bidding him farewell, a sudden trap descends—a heavy cage locks around him, and he is forcibly taken to the kingdom of Oceanus, a place unknown to him. In Oceanus, Oriol is imprisoned in a cold cell, bewildered and scared. The kingdom’s people look on with a mixture of excitement and fear, for their prince, Triton, has been told that Oriol’s power is their only hope.
